Privacy Policy
Version 0.1, effective October 11, 2026
This policy explains what information Ayurli collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. At this stage, Ayurli collects personal information only from practitioners who create an account and from people who browse the site. We will update this policy before we begin collecting information from clients.
1. Information we collect
From practitioners, when you create and manage an account:
- Account details: name and email address
- Profile details: bio, location, training, credentials, specialties, services, prices, and links to your website or social profiles
- A record of when you accepted these documents, and which version
- Messages you send us, such as support emails
From anyone visiting the site:
- Basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting and security providers
- Error reports when something on the site breaks, which may include technical details about your browser and the page you were on
We do not currently collect health information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
- To create and run your account and display your public profile
- To review and approve practitioner profiles
- To send you messages about your account, such as sign-in links and important updates
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors
- To improve Ayurli
If we send newsletters or marketing emails, every one will include an unsubscribe link.
3. What is public
Your practitioner profile is public once approved, as described in the Practitioner Terms. Your email address and service prices are not shown publicly.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Ayurli, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Hetzner: hosting our servers and database
- Cloudflare: domain, security, and site performance
- Sentry: error monitoring
- Postmark: sending emails
We may also share information if required by law, to protect the safety or rights of others, or as part of a sale or merger of Ayurli, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
5. Cookies
Ayurli uses only essential cookies, such as the cookie that keeps you logged in and cookies our security provider uses to block bots. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we need to keep it for legal, security, or backup reasons.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, sign-in by single-use email links instead of passwords, and restricted access to our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users if a breach puts their information at risk, as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your profile at any time. You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor them as the law requires.
9. Children
Ayurli is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as Ayurli grows, including before we begin serving clients. If we make important changes, we will notify you by email or in the app.
